Roger Godfrey & Dorothy Dulo, Founders & Directors*

ROGER-DOROTHYRoger and Dorothy bring vision and passion to Rafiki Africa. Roger is a native of Uganda and Dorothy is a native of Kenya. They both have passion to serve communities in Africa. Roger and Dorothy are social entrepreneurs, philanthropists and community leaders. They are committed to sustainable holistic change for the communities they serve. Dorothy has served with Rafiki since 1996 and Roger has served with Rafiki since 2004.

Amber Geist, Director of Community Education*

AMBER-GEISTAmber has been associated with Rafiki Africa since 2010 when she travelled to Alendu with a group of young adults from Worship Center Church in Lancaster, PA. On that trip she fell in love with the people and culture in Kenya and decided to return there the following year as a missionary teacher. From 2011-2013 Amber served as an educator at an American International school in Nairobi, Kenya. During her time living in Kenya she visited Alendu two more times to work with the school and women’s program. Amber currently teaches 5th grade in Middletown Area School District and volunteers on the Rafiki Education Committee. She enjoys traveling, especially back to Kenya, every chance she gets! Tina Weaver, Director of Community Health & Healing*

Tina-WeaverTina Weaver, Director of Community Health & Healing and Board Member Tina has been involved with Rafiki Africa since 2010 when she went on her first medical mission trip to Alendu, Kenya as a nursing school student. Having lived in Africa previously, this trip increased her love for Africa. From there she continued to become more involved with the organization on the Health and Healing Committee as well as various Rafiki events. Currently she holds her Bachelor’s degree as a Registered Nurse practicing in Labor and Delivery. Her desire is to see the Alendu people empowered and living a healthy and whole future.

Kenn Dulo, Director of Development*

Kenn-DuloKenn is native of Kenya and has volunteered with Rafiki from its inception. He has over 30 years of experience in community development work that includes construction, water supply and engineering work. He is a successful business owner and serves with many community organizations in Columbus, Ohio. He is passionate about the work of Rafiki and desires to see the communities Rafiki serves to be fully empowered.
